I have an old Amana dishwasher that I’ve had for a few years now, and I’m having trouble figuring out how to clean the filter. I’m not sure what the best way to go about it is. I’ve tried using some cleaning products, but they don’t seem to be doing the job. Does anyone have any advice on how to clean an old Amana dishwasher filter? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I remember the first time I tried to clean an old Amana dishwasher filter. I had no idea what I was doing and I was so nervous. I started by unplugging the dishwasher and removing the filter. It was caked with years of built-up food particles and grease. I then filled a sink with hot, soapy water and let the filter soak for a few minutes. After that, I used a soft-bristled brush to scrub away the dirt and grime. I then rinsed the filter with clean water and let it air dry. Finally, I re-installed the filter and plugged the dishwasher back in. It was a tedious process, but it was worth it. Now, my dishwasher runs like new and I can enjoy clean dishes again.
