I have an Amana refrigerator with a water dispenser, and I’m having trouble getting it clean. I’ve tried wiping it down with a damp cloth, but it doesn’t seem to be doing the job. I’m wondering what the best way to clean it is. Is there a specific cleaner I should use? Is there a certain technique I should follow? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I remember the first time I had to clean my Amana refrigerator water dispenser. It was a daunting task, but I was determined to get it done. I started by unplugging the refrigerator and removing the water filter. I then used a damp cloth to wipe down the outside of the dispenser and the filter housing. Next, I filled a bowl with warm water and a few drops of dish soap and used a sponge to scrub the inside of the dispenser. After rinsing and drying everything, I replaced the filter and plugged the refrigerator back in. I was relieved to see that the water dispenser was sparkling clean! From then on, I made sure to clean my Amana refrigerator water dispenser every few months to keep it in top condition.
