I’m having trouble changing the drum seal on my Frigidaire washing machine. I’ve looked online and can’t seem to find any helpful information. I’m hoping someone here can give me some advice on how to do this. I’m not very experienced with repairing appliances, so any help would be greatly appreciated. 1. Unplug the washing machine from the power outlet.
2. Turn off the water supply to the washing machine.
3. Place a towel or bucket underneath the washing machine to catch any water that may leak out.
4. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the access panel in place.
5. Remove the access panel and locate the drum seal.
6. Use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the old drum seal.
7. Use a damp cloth to clean the area around the drum seal.
8. Place the new drum seal in place and secure it with the screws.
9. Reattach the access panel.
10. Turn on the water supply to the washing machine and plug it back into the power outlet.
