I recently changed the water filter on my Amana washing machine and it was surprisingly easy. I started by unplugging the machine from the wall and turning off the water supply. I then opened the top of the machine and located the filter. It was pretty easy to spot because it was a small, round, plastic piece. I unscrewed the filter and removed it from the machine. I then took the new filter and screwed it into place. I made sure it was secure and then I plugged the machine back into the wall and turned the water supply back on. I ran a cycle to make sure the filter was working correctly and it was! Changing the water filter on my Amana washing machine was a simple process and I’m glad I was able to do it myself.
