I’m having trouble changing the door latch on my front load Frigidaire washing machine. I’ve looked online and in the manual, but I’m still having trouble figuring out how to do it. I’m hoping someone can explain the process step-by-step so I can get it done. Does anyone have any experience with this type of repair? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

1. Unplug the washing machine from the power outlet.
2. Remove the screws that secure the top panel of the washing machine.
3. Lift the top panel off the machine and set it aside.
4. Locate the door latch on the inside of the washing machine.
5. Unscrew the screws that hold the door latch in place.
6. Remove the old door latch and replace it with the new one.
7. Secure the new door latch with the screws.
8. Replace the top panel and secure it with the screws.
9. Plug the washing machine back into the power outlet.
