I had a problem with my Amana washing machine lid lock recently. It wouldn’t open, no matter how hard I tried. After a few minutes of frustration, I decided to do some research to try and figure out how to bypass the lid lock.
I found out that the lid lock was actually a safety feature, designed to prevent the lid from opening while the machine was in use.
