I recently purchased an Amana washing machine and I’m having trouble resetting it. I’ve looked through the manual and I’m still not sure what I’m supposed to do. I’ve tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, but that didn’t seem to work. Does anyone have any advice on how to reset an Amana washing machine? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I recently had to reset my Amana washing machine. It was a bit of a challenge, but I eventually figured it out. First, I unplugged the machine from the wall. Then, I opened the lid and removed the fabric softener dispenser. I wiped down the inside of the machine with a damp cloth to make sure there was no lint or debris. Next, I pressed and held the “Power” button for five seconds to reset the machine. I then plugged the machine back in and closed the lid. Finally, I ran a test cycle to make sure the reset had worked. It was a bit of a hassle, but I’m glad I was able to reset the machine and get it back up and running.
