I recently bought an Amana oven and I’m trying to figure out how to use the self-clean feature. I’ve read the instructions in the manual, but I’m still having trouble understanding how to use it. I recently purchased an Amana oven and was excited to try out the self-clean feature. After reading the instructions, I was ready to begin. I started by wiping down the inside of the oven to remove any food debris. Then I removed all of the racks and knobs. I placed them in a safe place and closed the oven door. I pressed the self-clean button and the oven began to heat up. After a few minutes, I could smell the heat and knew it was working. I waited the recommended time and then opened the oven door. The inside was sparkling clean and all of the food debris had been burned away. I was so pleased with the results and now I know how to use the self-clean feature on my Amana oven.
