frigidaire washing machine squeaking noise when agitating

I have a Frigidaire washing machine and recently it has started making a squeaking noise when it is agitating. I am not sure what the cause of this is, but I am concerned that it may be a sign of a bigger problem. I have tried to research the issue online, but I haven’t been able to find any answers. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do? Is this a common issue with Frigidaire washing machines? Is there anything I can do to fix it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  1. The most likely cause of a squeaking noise when agitating in a Frigidaire washing machine is a worn drive belt or worn suspension springs. The drive belt can become stretched or cracked over time and will need to be replaced. The suspension springs can also become worn and need to be replaced.
