frigidaire washing machine drum making noise when spinning

I have a Frigidaire washing machine and recently it has been making a loud noise when the drum is spinning. I’m not sure what the cause of the noise is, but it’s quite loud and worrying. I’m hoping someone can help me out and explain what might be causing the noise and what I can do to fix it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  1. The most likely cause of a noisy washing machine drum is a worn out bearing, which can cause a loud grinding or humming noise. Other possible causes could include an unbalanced load, worn out shock absorbers, a worn out drive belt, or a defective motor.
