bosch washer where does detergent go

I recently purchased a Bosch washer and am having trouble figuring out where to put the detergent. I’ve read the manual, but it’s not very clear. Does anyone know where the detergent is supposed to go? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    The first thing to know is that your Bosch washer has two compartments for detergent. The first compartment is for the main wash cycle, and the second is for pre-wash or pre-soak cycles. To use the main wash cycle, you’ll need to add detergent to the main detergent compartment. This is usually located on the top of the washer, and it’s marked with a symbol that looks like a bottle of detergent. Just pour the detergent into the compartment and close the lid.
