I have an Amana refrigerator and I’m trying to figure out how to change the water filter. I’ve looked through the manual and I’m still not sure how to do it. Does anyone have any advice? To change the water filter in an Amana refrigerator, locate the filter compartment in the upper right corner of the refrigerator’s interior. Remove the old filter by turning it counterclockwise and pull it out. Insert the new filter into the filter compartment and turn it clockwise until it stops. Reset the filter indicator light, if applicable, by pressing and holding the reset button for 3 seconds.
