I was less excited when I realized I had no idea how to remove the cover. After a few minutes of research, I figured out that I had to remove the screws on the back of the machine. I used a screwdriver to loosen the screws and then carefully pulled the cover off. It was a relief to finally have the cover off and I was able to access the inside of the machine. I was able to clean the lint filter and make sure everything was in working order. I was so proud of myself for figuring out how to remove the cover and I felt much more confident in my ability to tackle any future washing machine issues.
