I was recently faced with the daunting task of replacing the belt on my Amana washing machine. I was a little intimidated at first, but I soon realized that it was a relatively simple task.
I started by unplugging the machine and removing the back panel. This gave me access to the belt and pulleys. I then removed the old belt and replaced it with the new one. I made sure to wrap it around the pulleys in the correct direction.
Next, I reattached the back panel and plugged the machine back in. I then tested the machine by starting a wash cycle. It worked perfectly.
I was relieved to have successfully replaced the belt on my Amana washing machine. The whole process was surprisingly easy and I was glad to have saved myself the cost of a service call. I was also happy to have gained a bit of knowledge that I can use in the future.

To use the soak feature, I start by filling the tub with enough water to cover the clothes. Then, I add the appropriate amount of detergent and turn the dial to the soak setting. When the timer is up, I turn the dial to the rinse setting and let the water drain. Once the water has drained, I turn the dial to the spin setting and let the clothes spin.
After the clothes have been spun, I transfer them to the dryer. The clothes come out looking and smelling great! I’m so glad I bought this Amana washing machine. It’s made my laundry routine so much easier and more efficient.

First, I removed the detergent drawer and wiped it down with a damp cloth. Then, I used a soft brush to clean the inside of the machine, paying special attention to the rubber seal around the door. After that, I mixed a cup of white vinegar with two cups of water and poured it into the detergent drawer. I ran a hot cycle with no clothes in the machine to let the vinegar solution do its job. I then wiped down the inside of the machine again and put the detergent drawer back in place. Finally, I ran a hot cycle with a cup of baking soda in the detergent drawer to help freshen up the machine. After that, my Amana HE washing machine was sparkling clean and ready to go!
