why does bosch dishwasher smell

I recently purchased a Bosch dishwasher and noticed a strange smell coming from it. I’m not sure what is causing the smell, but it’s making me concerned. I’m hoping someone can help me figure out why my dishwasher smells and what I can do to get rid of the smell. Is there anything I can do to stop the smell or is it something I need to take to a professional? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Hi there!

Thanks for your question about why Bosch dishwashers smell. I understand that this can be a frustrating issue, but I’m here to help.

First, it’s important to understand that Bosch dishwashers are designed to be very efficient and to use minimal water. This means that the dishwasher can’t always flush out all of the food particles, which can lead to a bad smell. Another common cause of bad odors in Bosch dishwashers is a buildup of mold and mildew. This can happen if the dishwasher isn’t properly cleaned and dried after each use. To prevent this, you should make sure that you’re running the dishwasher on a hot cycle, and that you’re wiping down the inside of the dishwasher after
