how to unlock haier washing machine door

I have a Haier washing machine and I’m having trouble unlocking the door. I’ve tried pushing the button on the top of the door, but it won’t budge. I’m not sure what else to do. Does anyone have any advice on how to unlock the door? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
