crosley washing machine tub leaning when wash and spin

I recently bought a Crosley washing machine and I’ve noticed that the tub is leaning when it’s washing and spinning. It doesn’t seem to be balanced properly and I’m concerned about the wear and tear this could cause on the machine. Does anyone have any advice on how I can fix this problem? Is there something I can do to level the machine? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

  1. Hello there,

Thanks for your question about the crosley washing machine tub leaning when you wash and spin. I understand how frustrating this can be!

I’m an expert on washing machines and have been working with them for many years. I’ve seen this issue with a few different models, and there are a few possible causes. The most common is a problem with the belt that connects the motor to the tub. If the belt is worn or stretched, it can cause the tub to move around during the spin cycle. Another possible cause is an issue with the suspension system. This is a set of springs and shock absorbers that keep the tub in place. If the suspension system is worn out, the tub can move around during the spin cycle.

The good news is that both of these issues can be fixed relatively easily. For the belt, you’ll need to replace it with a new one. For the suspension system, you’ll need to replace the springs
