1. Unplug the refrigerator from the power source.
2. Remove the screws that secure the back panel of the refrigerator.
3. Locate the heating element and disconnect it from the wiring harness.
4. Remove the screws that secure the element to the refrigerator.
5. Install the new heating element and secure it with the screws.
6. Reconnect the wiring harness to the new element.
7. Replace the back panel and secure it with the screws.
8. Plug the refrigerator back into the power source.
