why is amana refrigerator clicking noise

I’m having an issue with my Amana refrigerator. I’m hearing a clicking noise coming from the back of the fridge. I’m not sure what it is and I’m hoping someone can help me out. I’ve tried to look up the issue online and I’m not finding any clear answers. I’m wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if so, what did you do to fix it? Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.

  1. The clicking noise from a refrigerator is usually caused by the compressor turning on and off. This is a normal part of the cooling cycle and should not be cause for alarm. However, if the noise is unusually loud or is accompanied by other strange noises, it could be a sign of a problem with the compressor, such as a failing motor or clogged condenser coils. In this case, it is recommended to contact a qualified technician to inspect and repair the refrigerator.
