I’m having trouble removing the agitator from my Amana washing machine. I’ve looked online and read the instructions, but I’m still having difficulty. I’m not sure if I’m missing a step or if I’m just not doing something correctly. Does anyone have any advice on how to remove the agitator from my Amana washing machine? I recently had to remove the agitator from my Amana washing machine. It was a little intimidating at first, but it was actually quite simple. First, I unplugged the washing machine from the wall outlet and shut off the water supply. Then, I removed the fabric softener cup and the top of the agitator by unscrewing the two screws holding it in place. After that, I used a flat head screwdriver to pry off the agitator cap and the agitator itself. Once the agitator was out, I was able to clean the inside of the washer and replace the agitator with a new one. It was a bit of a hassle, but I’m glad I was able to do it on my own. Now I know how to remove the agitator from an Amana washing machine and I’m sure this knowledge will come in handy in the future.
