I’m having trouble finding the thermal fuse on my Amana dryer. I’ve looked up the model number and looked through the user manual, but I still can’t seem to locate it. I’m hoping someone on this forum can help me out. Does anyone have any experience with this model of dryer and know where the thermal fuse is located? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I recently had to find out where the thermal fuse was located on my Amana dryer. After doing some research, I realized that it was located on the back of the dryer. I was a bit apprehensive about taking the back off, but I knew I had to if I wanted to get my dryer working again.
I took off the back panel, and sure enough, the thermal fuse was right there. I unscrewed it and took a look at it. It was burned out, so I knew I had to replace it. I went to the store and found a replacement. I took it home and put it in place of the old one.
After putting the back panel back on, I plugged in the dryer and tested it out. It worked! I was so relieved to have my dryer working again. I was glad I was able to figure out where the thermal fuse was located and replace it myself.
